The global sisterhood project is an initiative to help support all women and girls around the world to bleed with dignity.
Can you remember a time when you got your period spontaneously and wasn't prepared?
Maybe you're like me and frantically ripped through any purse, backpack and overnight bag you could find seeking absorption of some sort.
Can you imagine every month having NOTHING to support you're period?! No cups, no tampons, no pads or pantyliners, no period underwear, no sea sponges.. nada!
They don't have any tools for proper period sanitation.
Our sisters in many countries face this reality. They have no choice but to bleed in their clothes or any rags they can find laying around. They often must stay home from school and work because of their period.
It's a cycle they can't escape, not able to afford period hygiene and not able to go to work or school to make something of themselves because of it.
Our sisters get their period and feel absolutely helpless.
We believe that it is every women's birthright to bleed cleanly, consciously and confidently.
The awesome thing is - You can help, yes you!
Mahina Cup is matching 1-for-1 on every cup purchased through the month of March. We are partnering with Days for Girls to distribute the Mahina Menstrual Cups that you gift to our sisters in need!
Our goal is to send 500 Mahina Cups / period liberators overseas by April 1!
We love and appreciate all the support! xx
