How to have a Healthy, Luscious and Pleasured Yoni

Yoni is a sacred, sanskrit word that translates to “source of all life” or “sacred space” referring to a woman’s holy grail, aka vagina, between her legs. It is of utmost importance that we properly take care of our yoni.

 

Our sexual energy is power source and our pleasure is our gateway into the universe.

Below are my cherished tricks to amp up your pleasure portal with holistic self-care practices. Because let’s face it – you, yes YOU, deserve it!

1. CUCUMBER MASSAGE

This is one of my absolute favorite practices, especially living in the hot, humid tropics. Cucumbers are hydrating, ph balancing, alkalizing and anti-microbial. They are easy to find and extremely effective.

 

Pick a local, organic cucumber of medium size and width (play how you wish – the mini cucs are fun and easy too). Whatever size you chose, peel the skin. Take some time and space to yourself where you can really offer this practice as a self-devotion ritual.

 

Light a candle, put on some soft music, lock your door and prepare your temple.

 

I always begin with bringing one hand to my heart and one to my yoni/womb and connecting the two with my breath and intention.

 

Once you are ready, slowly bring the cucumber to your yoni lips and gently guide it in.

 

One of the great benefits of this practice is it naturally massages the vaginal canal while gently exfoliating off dead skin.

 

Slowly and with presence, bring the cucumber in and out of yoni while slightly rotating, it should feel cool and refreshing.

 

If at any point there is pain or discomfort, stop, check in and breathe.

 

I recommend this practice once or twice a week especially if there is any heat, yeast, bacterial imbalance or irritation from friction. It’s also a fantastic way to instantly bring down the body temperature!

3. Let her Breathe!

Organic cotton undies is the way to go! It is a breathable material that also absorbs moisture. Wearing organic cotton undies is an easy way to keep your yoni breathing, dry and held in softness. Best to avoid tight, latex, and non-breathable materials for your sweet sister down below. This causes blood flow restriction, excess heat, moisture, and can trap bacteria that leads to infection.

I prefer and recommend natural-made loose, flowing clothing with no panties as much as possible. Your yoni needs to breath and it’s amazingly sensational to feel the fresh wind blowing on her. A dear sister of mine always says “the yoni is shy, you have to open all other channels first before she is ready” – this is especially true if there is any sexual trauma. The most important thing here is to relax and follow your breath, only go as far and deep as you feel safe to do so and know you can always come back.

 

Leave lots of space for emotional release and integration. This is a primary part of this practice that often gets left behind. It’s nice to work the entire pelvic girdle, thighs (inner and outer), buttock, and womb area before going inside.

 

I also recommend some focus on jaw, neck and craniosacral release to assist in total surrender. Approach your body holistically, every part of it has a unique role and essence to discover. Grab your favorite essential oil, dilute into coco oil, flip on some juicy tunes and enjoy your sacred self!

A Holistic Guide To Heal Yoni Yeast

Yoni (Sanskrit — योनि ): womb; sacred space; vagina.

Your yoni is an intricate, dynamic system – a galactic universe. She has her own pH, microbiome, ecosystem, delicate hormonal dance and built-in security to assist in maintaining a healthy equilibrium. Your yoni naturally wants to be in balance, and will clearly let you know when something/someone is throwing her out of whack.  She has a voice and speaks to us in symptoms. The more out of balance one becomes, the ‘louder’ the symptoms will get until they are unavoidable. If we learn to listen to her gentle guidance, we become a magnet for living a joyful, sensual, creative and abundant life! Signs she’s not happy – UTI, yeast infection, rash, smell, PMS, cysts, and the list goes on.

One of the most important holistic self-care tools is deep listening. Allowing space, stillness and introspection: journaling, meditating, massaging, and seeking guidance from your yoni. It may seem woo-woo, or so easy it couldn’t possibly work. My promise is the more you love and devote to your yoni, the more your yoni will be the juicy, self-cleansing, orgasmic powerhouse that you desire!

Make sex sacred! Every person that has entered your yoni will energetically leave an imprint for up to 7 years! Not only that, if your partner is carrying any yeast or imbalances of their own, it can throw off the pH of your yoni. Yes, that means the diet and lifestyle of your loved ones also greatly affects you. Sex can be conscious, loving, with full consent, holy and divinely delicious. It should never be forced, out of guilt, a drunken blur, disrespectful, pushy or with any thoughts of ‘I know I shouldn’t.’  

Your yoni is your temple, treat her as such!

Emphasize whole foods and hydration. There is an amazing link between our mouth and our yoni, both physically and vibrationally. If your gut flora is overly acidic, this will greatly affect your yoni flora. If you’re healing from a more stubborn yeast/candida infection it’s best to avoid all sugar, alcohol and inflammatory foods. Incorporate nutrient rich greens, spirulina/chlorella and turmeric. Remember, holistic means the whole body working together, not just treating one symptom in one area of the body.

 

HERBAL PROTOCOL FOR DITCHING THE ITCH:

  1. Peel a garlic clove and insert directly into the yoni 3 nights in a row (you will most likely have garlic breath – remember the yoni and mouth connection!). Garlic is nature’s antibiotic and will work with you to fight off the yeast overgrowth.

 

  1. Place a few drops of oregano oil (make sure you use a high quality oil) into purified or fresh spring water and drink every couple hours. Oregano oil is astringent and drying with anti-microbial properties; it will soak up an internal damp condition and help clear yeast in your gut.

 

  1. Peel an organic cucumber and insert vaginally for relief. Cucumbers are cooling, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and will pull out heat.  You can use the cucumber as much as desired, however at least 2-3 times a week is most beneficial.

 

  1. Insert organic coconut oil directly into the yoni after solidifying in the fridge. Be sure to put a towel under you to keep your sheets from getting oily. This is great to nourish and help re-lubricate the yoni after the 3 nights of garlic. The cooling benefit of the coconut oil will also offer soothing relief. Coconut oil is also an antimicrobial and anti-fungal powerhouse. You can add a little turmeric powder to help draw the yeast out. A light yoni massage will help the oil absorb plus offer some healing touch. You can also use sesame oil or olive oil.

 

  1. Take a good oral probiotic. See what’s at your local natural food store. It’s best to take one with different strains. I love Garden of Life, and they have a few different options. You can also insert the probiotic vaginally overnight after the garlic treatment. If you chose this method, be sure to get one that is not encapsulated.

Yoni Sunning – Harmony and Activation of Your Life Force Energy

Our yoni is our opening into the infinite intelligence and center of creation. Our yoni is a place to be honored and cherished, a place of clarity and wisdom. When we get out of balance with life, our yoni is the first to let us know with symptoms of imbalance and disease.

Your Yoni Never Lies.

Taking time daily to connect with your yoni, to check in with her and to devote to her, will increase your connection and ability to hear her needs. At first it may feel funny, speaking to your yoni. When we honor the goddess temple within us, we increase our health, abundance, sensuality and fertility. The natural sunlight helps to kill bacteria and tones the muscles. By exposing the darkest or most yin part of our bodies to yang sunlight, we bring harmony and balance to our energy system. It is also very invigorating and stimulating for our sexual energy.

I love to go nude in my backyard and bare my bottom to the sun for 10-15 minutes (gauge your time depending on how much sun exposure you are used to). I always feel a burst of mana (energy), inspiration and a flow of any stuck or stagnant energies. If you are in a cold winter zone, turn up the heat and catch the rays through a clear glass window.

Yoni Sunning Guide

  • Lay on your back with your knees bent, soles of feet kissing the earth and knees open wide.
  • Place your hands comfortably on your belly outlining your pelvic bowl.
  • On your inhale, imagine through your yoni lips (labia) sipping in the energy of love, light and gratitude from the sun’s rays.
  • On your exhale, release to the earth any tension, cords, patterns or imbalances.
  • Stay here for a few minutes deeping your rhythmic breath.
  • When ready to spice it up – contract your PC muscles (kegel or mula bandha) at the top of your inhale while massaging the sun’s healing rays into your belly.
  • Big open mouth exhale to release and soften.
  • Repeat and stay with it for 5 minutes.
  • Remember to have fun and be easy on yourself.
  • Leave time for self-reflection and integration.
